What I've been up to

So I haven't posted in a good while and felt like.. well.. posting.  Works been pretty crazy so I haven't had too much time for gunpla but I have been fiddling here and there.

Going in chronological order.

I've been working on and off on the TT Hongli Sinanju. I decided to finish the kit completely in sections. For example the right leg frame here is complete with flat coat.  I plan on finishing the inner frame like this then doing the same with the outer armor.

Next up is a kit that's practically done.  Its really just waiting on my spray booth to be working again.

The MG Zaku II F2. I went with a heavy weathering scheme and it went together pretty quick.  It needs a few minor things like weathering on the machine gun. But its really just waiting on a flat coat.

The next and final kit was pretty much a spur of the moment thing.  I spotted it cheap at HobbyTown USA and decided to grab it.

Real Grade Exia.  I've always liked the Exia and I like almost every single thing about this kit. The one glaring issue being the front skirts virtually preventing the legs from kicking forward.  Bandai needed a joint similar to the Master Grade here. In my opinion they kinda cheaper out by using the standard RG joint. I mean, a similar joint can be found on the back skirt of the RG Strike Freedom so they could have made it work.  Eh, oh well. The kit still looks amazing as with any Real Grade and you Can get it into dynamic poses.  You're just a bit limited.

Well that's all for now.  Like I said, haven't accomplished much but I am starting to get through my backlog little by little. Then I go and get new kits like the Exia.  What can ya do.  In other news I did get a new gunpla setup.

My wife got this this awesome desk on clearance and its my new go to work space.  I still have my big gunpla shelves I just kinda rotate mood of the week gunpla to the shelves on this thing.

That's all for now.  For the time being I'll probably just post quick things like this (even though this ended up being a bit long). I'll still try to do galleries but don't expect any sort of detailed work in progress post from me for a while. That being said I am going to try and do more posts in general.
